All the bad reviews on here are because of their extensive background check and training. Remember everyone, this is a highly secure company. The people they hire do backgrounds to let individuals into nuclear facilities nationwide! Great company to work for, I highly recommend. Also, Emily is great

I was started in a training class last monday. I was told I was being started contingent on background check clearance. I was told I had to give two references. While I was in training they contacted those references and one of my friends gave me a negative reference. They said I had 1 bad employment reference as well as short time on my job history. which they already had that information long before they started me.
I was painfully honest about my job history with short time on many jobs. BUT great experience and also honesty. a good quality for a background company. they fired me after four hours. This company does not give people a chance so I think it is unfair and super sad because I was really excited about working for them and there is some great people there but the way they handle things is very unstable, unfair and unprofessional.

Pinnacle Investigations has been our firms resource of choice for background checks for over a decade. The industry of background checks is filled with less than reputable companies that sell you packages which are not as comprehensive as they would have you believe. Terrible company to work with. I got hired back in August 2018, and I was in the training. After two days of training, they let half of our trainees go home saying that they hired more than what they actually needed in case someone may quit. I was angry at how unprofessional they were. The next day, they called me to see if I am interested in working with them again and try to have me back because someone else already has quit that day.
I turned it down. Organization truly sucks. For the record, I have a BA and AS degree along with military background and bilingual language proficiency. I was one of them to let go.

I don't usually post reviews, but I came across one of the recent reviews here and thought it was really unfair! I was hired here in August 2018 too, and one of their clients didn't send the files they were expecting, so they let some of the people in my training group go too. They called me back the next day because there had been some changes, and I started back up the same day.
I was hired permanently after the outage season and promoted. I've been here for almost a year now and love working here - this is the best team I've ever worked with. If you have an opportunity to apply here - do it. It's hard work sometimes with long hours, but the overtime pay is great and it's a fun job and great people to work with.

Horrendous experience. They did a background check on me for an outage at a nuclear power plant, and it took them 10 days to process my background check. They called all of my references no fewer than 4 times each and never answered returned phone calls. I have had a background check done on me by this exact company 7 times previous to this (all for the same purpose) and each time has been a hassle. You'll never talk to the same person twice, nobody knows your folder, and they can't get their information organized because your folder keeps switching hands.
